I could not put this book down. Little Women was my go-to book in grade school. If you put me back in the elementary school library I could still take you to the exact shelf it was kept on.
The author was, I felt, faithful to the original while writing her story and I really enjoyed how she expanded and wrote about Jo, my favorite character. I'm recommending this to my friends and colleagues and picking up copies to give to my sisters.
